Has your computer ever been visited by the Blue Screen of Death? Ours had a drop in visit last month. Everything seemed like it was going alright and then one morning it happened, the computer just decided to stop working. Everytime we turned it on after that moment, it would look like it was booting up and then it would go to the Blue Screen of Death. Before the computer shared it's last moments with us, Brady and Jeff were watching dirtbike racing. I am not totally sure on the particulars, but the computer started acting funny when they were done watching the race so Jeff shut down/restarted the computer because it had frozen. Then to make matters worse, Brady shut the lid on the computer when it was restarting and that was the last time it worked.
Now if you know my husband you know that HE CAN FIX ANYTHING! I mean anything. It does not matter if it is mechanical or technical, he ALWAYS figures it out. I would venture to say that I cannot remember ONE THING he has not been able to fix during our entire marriage...except for maybe how loud he chews food. :) Well, it is sad to say that this is the first time in my married life that he was not able to fix it. So sad. It was the first computer that we bought together even though it was only a few years old (tear)...the first 5 years of our marriage we did not have a home computer. I know, crazy. The only consolation we are getting from the Blue Screen of Death is that we are going to use the old computer for target practice and shoot it out on my parent's ranch. The idea of making it explode into a million pieces seems TOTALLY AWESOME to the boys! :) So please back up your computers on an external hard drive...you never know when the Blue Screen of Death is going to pay you a visit.
Here are a few pics from the past month that I was not able to post because we had no computer.
Uncle Jon, such a great Uncle, taking all 4 big kids on a quad ride. It was hilarious, but he made it work. Love it!
Kennedy hanging out with me in the trailer while the boys rode dirt bikes.
Cody busting out a trick, a nac-nac, while sitting on the dirt bike. Our family is into vintage Jeremy McGrath tricks!
Brady is Mr. Independent now that he has his own bike.
